Village of Dreams – Tales from the Gerrard India Bazaar shares stories of neighbourhood’s entrepreneurial families
Long-time Gerrard-Coxwell area resident Nina Beveridge is gathering stories from the Little India neighbourhood for her cross-platform documentary project Village of Dreams – Tales from the Gerrard India Bazaar.
There is no shortage of interesting stories to be told in the Gerrard India Bazaar and longtime east Toronto filmmaker Nina Beveridge wants to hear all about them.
For more than a year now, Beveridge and her partner Paul Hart of Beevision Productions have been working to document the eclectic neighbourhood’s history through a film and story-sharing project called Village of Dreams — Tales from the Gerrard India Bazaar.
